Blueberry Lemon Cream Cheese Pastry


1 pkg 8 oz cream cheese-softened

1/3 cup sugar

1 tsp lemon juice

1 tsp vanilla

1 pkg frozen puff pastry sheets

1 egg

1 tbsp water


[1] Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees [2] Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper [3] Mix together cream cheese, sugar and lemon juice until smooth.  [4] Lightly flour work surface. Roll each sheet of pastry in to a 10"x10" square.

[5] Cut each into 6 rectangles about 5"x3 1/2".

[6] Transfer to baking sheets [7] Using a fork, price the centers of each rectangle leaving a 1/2 " border around the edges [8] Mix together egg and water. Brush over each rectangle.  [9] Add a spoonful of cream cheese mixture to center of pastry. Spread out leaving the 1/2" border uncovered. Do the same with Blackberry Lemon Jam

[10] Bake 15-18 minutes or until pastry is golden brown. Yum!
